Camping Des Trois Châteaux

Lage super, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, Sanitäranlagen in Ordnung - Plätze nicht allzu groß, aber noch angenehm.
Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man wandern und die Weinorte im Elsaß erkunden möchte.

Perfect location at the edge of Eguisheim town, which is gloriously picturesque and medieval. Easy walk and very pleasant to sit and have a drink.
Pitches were very small and tight to get onto. There was no road right around the site, which would have been helpful.
Suggest you get there early as it's very popular. We arrived about 3pm and there were only 4 or 5 pitches left. Most pitches are shaded by trees.
We were visited each evening by a tame stork who came for his tea.
Electricity is only 6 amp so you can't use a normal electric kettle. I think you might be able to have 10 amp if you pay extra.

Der camping ist für ein paar Tage in Ornung, die Plätze sind ausreichend bemessen, leider sind die hälfte der Plätze sehr schräg und uneben. Das Städtchen Equisheim ist auf jeden Fall eine Perle, man muss es gesehen haben.

We stayed here for two nights on the way back from Garda, the pitch was adequate and I think we could have got our awning up OK. Ample room behind caravan to park car which was accessible using another campsite road. We used the acsi card here. Small children's playground directly opposite amenities. Very amenable warden, who pointed us to the information we asked for. Toilet and showers were good and I didn't have to wait even with the site virtually full. The pitch we had was beneath a conker tree and they were dropping with regularity. A couple of times we were awoken with the crash of them landing on the roof. We also collected a large amount of walnuts as there are loads of these trees about. The town which is a short walk away is a GEM, stunningly beautiful houses dating back hundreds of years. There are numerous vintners in town and free tastings of the produce are available from many. We did and bought some nice wine to bring home, which are now resplendent in my wine rack.

Leuke camping met vriendelijke ontvangst. Wij waren van plan een paar dagen te blijven om Eguisheim en omgeving te bekijken. Het is ons zo goed bevallen dat wij 10 dagen zijn blijven staan. Camping liep elke dag vol. Het wijnfeest in Eguisheim eind augustus is een aanrader.
